Back to Basics: Your Beginner Series Our brand new 6-week foundation course is designed for complete beginners to hot yoga, or for regular practitioners looking to refine their alignment and reconnect with the fundamentals. Throughout the series, you’ll explore key elements of a strong and sustainable yoga practice — including breathwork, alignment, foundational postures, and endurance in the heat. Each week introduces you to a different class style offered in our studio, giving you a taste of the full Hot Yoga Cookstown experience. By the end of the 6 weeks, you’ll feel confident stepping into any of our regular classes, with a solid understanding of how to move safely and effectively in the heat, how to use your breath as a tool for focus and strength, and how to build balance, mobility, and resilience in your practice.
